National outreach

 You Are Loved Ministry Served at the Chosen 300  Center City Location  April 22, 2023

  We will do the Service and Ministry on Saturday July 22nd, 2023 for Chosen 300 Ministry in Pottstown Pa.

Back story It has always been my heart's desire to help those less fortunate homeless & addicted even if I had to open up my house.  When I was with Breath Of Life ministry, cooking a hot breakfast on the 3rd Saturday and mingling with the people brought so much joy to my life. That was our sense of church if that makes sense.
 On Christmas day 2020 while I was preparing to have all the family over for dinner and enjoy my grands opening up their gifts my dad passed away in the house  from an overdose. He wasn't homeless or hungry, he was LOVED.
 You following a few months back me & my mom was talking like we always do out of nowhere  she gets to reminiscing about the BOL days im like ok where that come from.  I'm at work having a remember me moment. The tears started flowing and all I could think about was what to do & Joe so I texted my family like 3am hey since we're going away for Christmas this year let's feed the homeless. Everyone said yes I mean everyone no debate or pushback that's a miracle in itself but anyways. I made a call for prayer not knowing that it was in their spirit also and bam the baby was born God blessed  us suddenly from a meal to You are Loved blessing bags.
 So now that I shared how I began. I'll share the logistics.We were truly blessed to receive donations of food coats, shoes, clothing and $695 which allowed us to purchase the necessary items.  Saturday Dec 3, 2022 we'll be setting up at  Broad & JFK @9am where we'll be giving out soup & sandwiches along with blankets coats hoodies clothing & 75 backpacks filled with hats gloves socks hand & toe warmers mylar blankets toiletries,snacks and resource cards. Because the homeless population doesn't stay in one area we'll proceed to   the next location at  10th & Filbert Greyhound stationarea to give out the remaining items.   And our final destination is 601 Indiana Stwhere we'll be giving out food items.  If you would like to participate in any manner whether physical or financial all are welcome. Fresh Manna has been a support to Houseofable over the years. They are a non-profit organization that does an enormous amount of activities and programs  for children, adults and seniors in the inner city community. They partner with other organizations  to strengthen the community and provide resources to people in need.

Houseofable aim is to work with these young adults  and to equip them with skills to be socially engaging to have the ability to impact their thoughts necessary to avert physical altercations or the use of guns  for problem solving . Also while  integrating social, recreational , culture ,educational and prevention programs with activities .    Our aim is to provide the youths with skills and knowledge to make choices resulting in the best outcomes: . We want the youths to be active participants as we implement activities to address their ongoing goals .     

7.) All of our schedule whether inside or out a physical site , the well being of the youth is paramount therefore guide be adhered to according to child safety code as mandated    Childcare (pa. Chapter 270).Houseofable organization is visible and well respected in the City of Philadelphia.
